The 5-day Best of Kenya safari rewards you with a chance to visit Amboseli, Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru respectively. The safari offers a great opportunity to spot the big five animals, and predators, witnessing the annual wildebeest migration, endless sceneries, different and unique birds and more. Enjoy game drives and community walks in the Masai land.

Amboseli National Park is known for beautiful scenery and large numbers of elephants, Masai Mara National Reserve is known for homing various wildlife and hosting the wildebeest migration and Lake Nakuru is known for homing large numbers of flamingoes.

Detailed Itinerary

Day1. Nairobi to Amboseli NP

The safari will begin with meeting a guide driver of our safari company assigned to you. Immediately after the briefing, head to Amboseli National Park. This protected area is located in southern parts of Kenya known for homing large numbers of elephant herds with a backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro which is known as the tallest mountain in Africa located in Tanzania.

Arrive and take lunch which will be followed by a game drive to spot Masai giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, cheetahs, lions, elephants, buffalos, topi, crocodiles, wild dogs and more. Head back to the lodge for your dinner.

Day2. Head to Masai Mara NR

Have a morning game drive to enjoy more of the park’s scenery and inhabitants. Later on, transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve which gets its name from the Masai people who were the early inhabitants of this great destination. This means that on your arrival at this reserve, visit the Masai community and get an insight into how this unique culture lives on pastoral work. Take part in local music and dances, taste their food, see their dress code and more. Head to the lodge for dinner.

Day3. Full day in Mara plains

Spend this day adventuring in the park premises as you take part in a full-day game drive where you expect to see animals like Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Rhinos, African Buffaloes, Wildebeest, Giraffes, Zebras and many more. There is a lot to enjoy during this day such as a picnic lunch, bush breakfast and more. Apart from that, Masai Mara is amazing since it’s home to different birds, plants and more great moments like that one when predators are hunting.

Day4. Head to Lake Nakuru NP

Leave Masai Mara in the morning and head to Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey takes about 4 to 5 hours drive but is very rewarding since you encounter different sceneries. On arrival, take an afternoon game drive which will offer you a chance to be welcomed by diverse wild animals such as zebras, zebras, waterbucks, both black and white Rhinos, baboons, pythons and more. Head back to the lodge for your dinner.

Day5. Head back to Nairobi after a game drive

Breakfast will be served at the lodge on leisure and after, embark on the morning game drive where you get a chance to spot more wildlife. Head back to Nairobi and be dropped at the agreed point to mark the end of the safari.
