Day 1: Transfer from hotel to Mgahinga to see Uganda gorillas
Wake up early in the morning, enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, start your 9-10 hours’ journey to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. This journey involves navigating via beautiful cities –Masaka, Mbarara while enjoying the sceneries in the countryside. A stopover will be made at the Equator crossing and continue to Igongo Cultural Centre for a lunch break. After, drive up to Kisoro and connect to your pre-booked safari lodge.

Day 2: Uganda Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga
It is the day to embark on a journey to enjoy up close with a family of endangered mountain gorillas in the wild. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park has only one family –Nyakagezi which is open for gorilla trekking and a maximum of 8 guests will be visiting this family. The park guide will lead you through the entire gorilla trekking session and one hour is guaranteed for your up close with these large apes upon locating them.
