Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi for gorilla trekking tour
You will depart from your respective hotel facility for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will have the best of Uganda gorilla trekking tour. Drive on Kampala-Mbarara-Kabale route for 8-9 hours and en-route, a stopover will be made at the Equator crossing. Proceed to Southwestern Uganda while enjoying the countryside breathtaking sceneries characterized by rolling hills, vast plantation and more. You will check in at the lodge around Buhoma sector, the northern gorilla trekking region where the first gorilla family to open for trekking is found.

Day 2: Uganda gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi
After breakfast, report to Buhoma area to get briefed about gorilla trekking guidelines and also for the park official to assign you an experienced park guide. With everything that you require on a trek, set off for actual search for a gorilla family assigned to you and this begins at 8:00am. The trekking session with mountain gorillas runs for 2-6 hours which includes an hour for a close encounter with these large apes. Maximize the hour for you to also take as many photos of these huge apes while in their natural habitat.
Start trekking back to briefing point to be awarded a certificate for having successfully trekked gorillas in Uganda. From here, head off to your gorilla safari lodge for relaxation and get some refreshments. You will exit your lodge again later in the afternoon for a guided cultural/community visit at the Batwa community.
Day 3: Departure time
Enjoy breakfast and after, get everything that belongs to you packed in your 4WD vehicle. Begin driving back to Kampala/Entebbe with en-route lunch expected to be had after photography at Equator crossing.
