Akagera Game Tour is a special wildlife package designed to let you unearth the wonders of Akagera National Park. Day 1: Kigali city excursion & depart for Akagera National Park
A hefty breakfast can be enjoyed at the hotel in Kigali and after, meet with the tour leader for a briefing about your 3-day Akagera game tour in Rwanda. After, you will have 2 hours exploring Kigali and includes visiting Kigali genocide memorial and Kimironko market plus craft shops. A lunch break will be had at the restaurant or hotel and after, you will head off to Akagera N/Park. This is a complete big 5 game safari destination in Rwanda.

Day 2: Game drive experience & boat cruise
Board a 4×4 safari vehicle after having a hefty breakfast at the lodge. Enjoy the 6:00am guided game drive that will last for 2-3 hours taking you on exceptional wildlife encounters. Navigate via the enriching game track through Akagera NP while spotting different wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas, warthogs, giraffes, topis, and birds –over 525 species of birds all exist within this park.
From the game drive, get back and settle for a leisurely lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a launch cruise excursion on Lake Ihema. Lake Ihema is known for its excellent views of aquatic life including hippos, crocodiles and water birds.

Day 3: Morning game drive & return to Kigali
After breakfast, return to Akagera’s vast savanna plains for the morning game drive session. Look out for the abundant wildlife in this savanna park along the different game track or previous game trail expecting to watch several early risers. Enjoy a picnic lunch and after, start driving back to Kigali.
