Detailed Itinerary

Day1. Arrival in Arusha, be picked up and transferred to the hotel

The driver guide will pick you up from the airport and he will take you to the hotel booked. In case you arrive early, head to visit some of the attractions in Arusha city such as local markets, Arusha National Park and more.

Day2. Transfer to Tarangire National Park

Have breakfast and head to Tarangire National Park home to different unique Wildlife in the savannah plains. This park gets its name from River Tarangire which is the main source of water for wildlife in this great national park. This means that the park gets high numbers of migration of wild animals during the dry season as they come to quench their thirst.

Arrive and take part in an evening game drive where you expect to meet elephants, giraffes, cape buffaloes, wildebeests, waterbucks, dik-dik, impala, fringe-eared oryx kudus, hartebeests, lions, leopards, spotted hyenas and others. Head back to the lodge booked for your dinner and sleep.

Day3. Game drive and transfer to Serengeti NP

Take part in an early morning game drive in Tarangire to watch over early raisers. Later after breakfast, head to Serengeti National Park a journey that will last for 4 to 5 hours drive as you pass through the fertile lands of Ngorongoro highlands which are covered with wheat and corn.

Arrive and enjoy a game drive in the Seronera area since it has a concentration of wild animals such as buffaloes, wildebeests, waterbucks, dik-dik, impala, kudus, hartebeests, lions, leopards, spotted hyenas and many more others. Head back to the lodge booked for dinner and nap.

Day4. Full day in Serengeti

After a delightful breakfast, take part in a morning game drive where you expect to meet animals like bushbuck, lions, Jackals, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, Janet cats, Baboons, Giraffes, elands, spring, warthogs and more. After a game drive, a lunch break will be offered following a cultural tour of the Masai community.

This time, take part in the cultural music and dances, norms and dress code plus tasting their local food. After, head back to the lodge with en route evening game drive in the park.

Day5. Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater, afternoon crater rim walk

Have breakfast at the lodge and then transfer to Ngorongoro Crater with a route game drive in Serengeti plains. Arrive in Ngorongoro and enjoy a mouth-watering lunch while enjoying the scenery. Take a guided nature walk in the park to the summit of the crater rim while watching over animals, stunning picturesque scenery and more. Head back to the lodge for your dinner and nap.

Day6. Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Have a morning game drive where you expect to meet different wildlife. After, take a drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an evening game drive and this will enable you to have a chance to spot wildlife like elephants, wildebeests, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, elephants, lions, warthogs, zebras and many more others. Head to the lodge for dinner and sleep.

Day7. Transfer to Arusha, fly to Zanzibar and stone town tour

The breakfast will be served which will be followed by a drive to the airport. Fly to Zanzibar where you will meet a driver guide to take you through what the remaining days will include. The tour will begin by visiting notable attractions in the Stone Town.

These attractions will be notable local markets, the former slave market, the People’s Palace Museum, Old Fort and more. The town gets its name since most of the buildings were built using coral stones during the time of early explorers. Head to the hotel for your dinner and night.

Day8. Spice tour and prison island tour

Take part in the spice tour since Zanzibar is known as a hub for different spices such as cinnamon, garlic, ginger, lemon grass, cloves, mint, bay, vanilla, rosemary, purely and many more. During this tour, you will touch smell and later on taste the food and drinks where these spices can be used. After, head to visit the prison island which is now known as the Tortoise Island. In past, it was a prison for rebellious slaves during the slave trade and it was a home of giant aldebra tortoises. Day9. Boat cruise to Nungwi Beach for leisure

Day10. Nature walk in Jozani forest and optional activity
