Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP –A guided game drive & launch/boat cruise & return to Kampala.
Enjoy an early morning breakfast at your respective hotels in Kampala and after, meet your tour leader ready to start your 4 hours’ drive journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Leave Kampala as early as 6:30am, drive via Masaka-Mbarara route and en-route, stand a chance to make a brief stop at the Equator for photography.
Continue from Kayabwe to Lake Mburo Park where you will proceed with a game drive. Lake Mburo NP game drive comes with lots of astonishing animal encounters including elands, giraffes, zebras, impalas, reedbucks, oribis, buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks, and bird species. Settle for lunch at the nearby safari lodge and proceed with a 3:00pm launch or boat cruise on Lake Mburo. On a boat ride, keep eyes on hippos, crocodiles and water bird species.
Return from the boat cruise, meet your driver guide ready to get back to Kampala city. Arrive at the hotel in Kampala city for relaxation and overnight stay –this marks the end of 1-day Lake Mburo safari.
